Gospel Center offers age appropriate classes each Sunday for children birth through 6th grade. The first set of classes meet during our Sunday School hour at 9:00 with a Children's Church class to follow during our service time which begins at 10:15. Our classes for children birth through age 3 are ongoing, meaning that their classes last through all of Sunday School and the Worship Service. Because we believe in inter-generational worship, children ages 4 and up have a break between Sunday School and Children's Church in which they join the adults in the main Worship Service and are released to their classes prior to the sermon. Every 4th Sunday however, we invite our elementary aged children to sit in for the whole sermon with their families.
The goal of our Sunday programming is to walk children through the Bible with the understanding that everything points back to Jesus! We use The Gospel Project curriculum for all of our age groups. In addition to learning from The Gospel Project in their children's church class, our 3rd-6th grade class is learning from the Answers in Genesis curriculum during the Sunday School hour. We handpicked our curriculum to fit our mission of keeping the Gospel at the center of all we do. We believe that our curriculum helps us to do this well.
